RECOVERY-Amino Power (RAP): is a product of cutting-edge research for advanced nutritional support. Recent breakthroughs, and our relentless pursuit and diligent research, have enabled us to combine all of the Essential Amino Acids  in their purest and free-form, in perfect balanced proportions as a potent MATRIX. EAAs cannot be produced by the body so they must come from the food consumed, therefore they are absolutely essential and vital for life.

Each capsule of RAP contains the nine EAAs (including the three BCAAs) in their purest crystalline free-form, in a balanced unique combination, plus the synergy of four potent amino acid compounds as cofactors: Glutamine a-Ketoglutarate, Arginine a-Ketoglutarate, Arginine-Ketoisocaproate, and Ornithine a-Ketoglutarate, which along with increasing strength, endurance and recovery, form an Advanced Delivery System for the essential amino acids. This advanced delivery system works by naturally increasing the flow of blood to working muscles. More blood means more oxygen and nutrients for the skeletal muscles. The result is complete absorbability and almost 100% Net Protein/Nitrogen Utilization for increased, strength, endurance, and quicker recovery times making RAP by far the best protein or amino acid complex available today.

As a dietary supplement, take at least SIX capsules every day; take 3 capsules prior to activity, 3 capsules immediately after activity, and if required 3 capsules immediately before bed at night. For races, take 3 capsules before the race and 3 capsules / hour during the race.

Note: Do not use if pregnant or lactating

AstraGinTM is an all natural ingredient that can significantly increase the bioavailability of amino acids, glucose, and vitamins by about 50% by allowing a greater amount of these nutrients to pass from the blood stream into the cell.

Contains Pharmaceutical grade Essential Amino Acids in their purest crystalline free-form.
RECOVER-Amino Power (RAP) does not contain any ingredients banned or declared harmful by the FDA, or any regulatory body or commission.

1. EAAs are extremely important for Muscle Growth and Development:
Most of the 22 amino acids (Non Essential) can be created by the body as needed, however, the nine EAA’s must come from food – they cannot be manufactured by the body. Researchers in a recent independent study discovered a corresponding increase in muscle growth when they increased blood EAA levels: blood EAA level increase from 1.3 (mmol/l) to 2.6 (mmol/l), doubled the rate of protein synthesis, thereby significantly increasing muscle growth and recovery rate.

2. EAAs prevent muscle breakdown occurring during and post-exercise:
Muscle breakdown is a part of the process of training to excel. The catabolic process starts as soon as training begins and continues to damage muscles for several hours after exercise. Studies have shown that the abundant presence of EAAs in the blood stream, in the right proportions, not only prevent and reduce the breakdown of muscles, but also help with recovery and muscle growth. Regular use of RAP should maintain a good supply of EAAs in the blood stream to enable the anabolic process.

3. RECOVER – Amino Power and caloric efficiency:
Caloric Efficiency is defined as the ratio of muscle protein synthesis to calories consumed. A calorically efficient product helps in gaining more muscle than fat. A product which is not calorically efficient will work in the reverse direction – more fat, less muscle. In our study we compared 6 capsules of RAP to same amount of a product which contained a mixed Essential and Non Essential amino acid blend and found that RAP stimulated twice the muscle growth.

In another study, a group of subjects were given 12 capsules of RAP, while a second group received 12 capsules of RAP along with the same amount of Non Essential Amino Acids, which is similar to the amount of protein from a good protein shake. While calories were more than double in the second group, the amount of protein synthesis was identical for both groups. Which means that the non-essential amino acids do not contribute to enhance muscle growth, they are simply extra calories. Only the essential amino acids cause muscle growth.

Furthermore RAP contains the synergy of the extraordinary compounds and cofactors of Ketoglutarates and ketoisocaproate which make RAP not only the best but also the most calorically efficient supplement on the market today.

4. Reduces the inflammatory process:
RAP prevents and reduces muscle breakdown, thereby reducing the inflammatory process that causes soreness, and decreases the production of stress hormone cortisol. Cortisol causes muscle loss, fat gain, and inhibits recovery. Reducing this cortisol spike after training means faster recovery and muscle growth. Therefore RAP helps train harder and longer.

5. Deamination and Essential Amino Acids: Food categories that lack essential amino acids are poor sources of protein equivalents, as the body tends to deaminate the amino acids obtained, converting proteins into fats and carbohydrates. Therefore, a balance of essential amino acids is extremely important for a high degree of Net Protein Utilization, which is the mass ratio of amino acids converted to proteins to amino acids supplied.

The net protein utilization is profoundly affected by the limiting amino acid content (the essential amino acid found in the smallest quantity in that particular food), and somewhat affected by salvage of essential amino acids in the body. It is therefore a good idea to use RECOVER-Amino Power regularly to maintain a varied intake of all the Essential Amino Acids. This limits the loss of nitrogen through deamination and increases overall net protein utilization.

Use RECOVER-Amino Power regularly to:

1. Prevent Muscle Breakdown
2. Reduce catabolism
3. Prevent Deamination
4. Improve and increase muscle growth
5. Reduce Fatigue and Soreness
6. Heal injuries quickly and efficiently
7. Increase energy levels
8. Increase strength and stamina
9. Speed time-to-recovery after exercise/workouts
10. Improve and maintain a healthy immune system
11. Increase and improve general health, vitality and vigor

There are amino acid products in the market which may be tablets or capsules of whey protein concentrate or whey protein isolates. They may also contain a few free-form amino acids, but do not contain all the EAAs and the advanced compounds and cofactors of the a Ketoglutarates. Some may be very similar to RAP, but they do not even show the quantity of amino acids in them. However, they sell for three times the price of RAP. Compare and see for yourself before you buy them.
